School of Science Commencement Ceremony

 

The School of Science invites graduating students and their guests to a School of Science Commencement Ceremony, which will follow the University ceremony.

 

Please wear your cap and gown to the School of Science ceremony. For information about ordering your graduation apparel or other information pertaining to the University ceremony, please call the Commencement Hot Line at (317) 278-1700 or 1-866-267-3104 or visit www.alumni.iupui.edu/commencement.

 

Diplomas will not be presented at the commencement ceremonies. Diplomas for December graduates will be available at the end of March; diplomas for May graduates will be available mid-July; and diplomas for August graduates will be available mid-November. You will be contacted via regular mail when diplomas are available to be picked up in the School of Science Dean’s Office, LD 222. Instructions will also be provided if you wish your diploma mailed to you.

 

Tentative graduation honors {distinction, high distinction (IU students only), and highest distinction} will be assigned for May 2013 and August 2013 undergraduates, based on your most recent degree GPA calculation. December 2012 undergraduate graduates will be confirmed. Official graduation honors for May 2013 and August 2013 will be awarded after final grades are posted and will be recorded on your diploma and transcript. Students who are tentatively granted honors will be contacted in April to arrange receipt of their honor cords.
