School of Science Commencement Ceremony 2017

The School of Science invites graduating students and their guests to a School of Science Commencement Ceremony, which will follow the University ceremony.
Students are required to check in and assemble at 4:00pm or immediately following the conclusion of the Main Ceremony.

Diplomas will not be presented at the commencement ceremonies. Diplomas for December graduates will be available in March; diplomas for May graduates will be available mid-July; and diplomas for August graduates will be available mid-November. You will be contacted via postal mail when diplomas are available to be picked up in the School of Science Dean’s Office, LD 222. Instructions will also be provided if you wish to have your diploma mailed to you.
Tentative graduation honors {distinction, high distinction (IU students only), and highest distinction} will be assigned for May 2017 and August 2017 undergraduates, based on your most recent degree GPA calculation. December 2016 undergraduate graduates will already be determined. Official graduation honors for May 2017 and August 2017 will be awarded after final grades are posted and will be recorded on the diploma and transcript. Students who are tentatively granted honors will be contacted in April to pick up their honor cords.
