Science Open House: Major for the 21st Century

Students in the School of Science at IUPIUComputer science is one of the fastest growing fields in the United States. In fact, by 2018 almost 75% of new science and engineering jobs will be in computer science.

The National Association of Colleges and Employers noted that the average starting salary for a graduate with bachelor’s degree in computer science was $61,407 (July 2009).

This event will feature small and large group discussion with current students and professors in the Computer & Information Science department of the School of Science at IUPUI and a tour of facilities, including both research and teaching labs.
