Science Open House: Major for the 21st Century
Computer science is one of the fastest growing fields in the United States. In fact, by 2018 almost 75% of new science and engineering jobs will be in computer science.
The National Association of Colleges and Employers noted that the average starting salary for a graduate with bachelor’s degree in computer science was $61,407 (July 2009).
This event will feature small and large group discussion with current students and professors in the Computer & Information Science department of the School of Science at IUPUI and a tour of facilities, including both research and teaching labs.
