Weekend U: Competing for Your Attention

Saturday, 16 February 2013 - 8:30am - 3:00pm
NCAA Headquarters, Indianapolis

Are you a competitor? Every day business, political, family, and leisure activities — all of which are driven by competition — consume our lives. So, it's likely you compete in ways even you don't even recognize. Competition affects us all and shapes our personalities.

Join us for "Competing For Your Attention," a continuing-education conference presented by your alumni association. The featured luncheon speaker will be Karen F. Crotchfelt, president and publisher of The Indianapolis Star. Our distinguished selection of faculty, media, business, law, and civic leaders will explore the many ways in which individuals, organizations, and events vie for your attention every day. Be part of the discussion. Challenge the way you think about competition.

Peggy Stockdale, professor & chair of the psychology department, will be speaking at this event.
