Research Interests:

My research is focused on reconstructing northeastern Midwest Holocene climate using sedimentology and stable isotopes from lake sediements.  My work so far has been based on a set of sediement cores from Martin Lake, LaGrange County Indiana.  This work will shed light on how this agriculturally productive region responds to shifts in global and regional climate changes.  Some of my other interests include backpacking, spending time with my fiance and our two dogs, and competitive bird watching.
