School of Science Reveals Rendering of Phase I Construction of New Building
Release Date:
Nov 8 2011
The School of Science recently revealed renderings of Phase I of a two phase construction project that will significantly impact the space available to the research efforts of Chemistry & Chemical Biology faculty. This coming spring the School of Science will break ground on the first phase of a two-phase building project, which includes 35,000 square feet of research and teaching labs. The first phase, with a budget of $25 million, will be funded entirely through research indirect cost recovery. This is the first academic building on the IUPUI campus, outside of the School of Medicine, to be funded in this way. Phase two, not shown, will add 30,000 square feet of additional lab and administrative space.
