Sharon Rangazas’s main area of interest is curriculum development.  Rangazas serves on several department committees that focus on maintaining and improving our undergraduate programs.  Her primary teaching interests and efforts have been focused at the precalculus level.  Rangazas serves as the course coordinator for all sections of Math 15300, 15400 (College Algebra and Trigonometry I & II) and Math 15900 (Precalculus). 

As Executive Assistant to the Chair, some of Rangazas’s responsibilities include: the scheduling of all Mathematics, Statistics, and Biostatistics courses for the department, surveying faculty teaching preferences, assigning all full-time faculty teaching assignments, scheduling and managing the faculty-peer class observations, and assisting the chair and faculty on various projects.
