Teach Science - Noyce Scholarship


The Robert Noyce Teach Science Scholarship encourages talented STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) undergraduate students at IUPUI to enter the challenging and rewarding profession of middle school or high school science teaching in high need schools. Recipients of the Teach Science Noyce Scholarship at IUPUI are eligible to receive both monetary and professional support to complete their teaching certification and baccalaureate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or Physics simultaneously.

Up to $12,500/year

  • March 15 for scholarships beginning the following FALL semester.
  • October 15 for scholarships beginning the following SPRING semester.
  • Student must also make an application to the T2T Program by February 7 of their senior year.
Application & Info: 
  • Complete and submit the IUPUI Continuing Student Scholarships Application by the due dates. IUPUI Scholarship application can be downloaded from:
  • Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a Science professor and the other from an Education professor or an academic advisor.
  • Write an essay responding to the question: What experience(s) has motivated you to pursue a career teaching science in a high-need school?
